President's Day/Valentine's Day Weekend

Life has been crazy busy lately! At times I'm not sure I can handle it all. Since last time I posted I've begun Spring Semester at CCD and gotten a new calling at church as Enrichment Leader. Life seems overwhelming at times but it makes the weeks fly by!! One minute its Monday and before I know it Friday is here. I am grateful for Will's schedule lately though - I appreciate him being home most evenings and gone during the day most weekends - that way I can get homework done : )

Last weekend Will and I were lucky enough to spend Friday and Monday entirely together. Sundays are usually the only day we get together - and its always nice to spend a random weekday together. We spent Friday in Boulder. We were craving some Pita Pit and decided to hit up the Celestial Seasonings Factory Tour. I've been once before with my mom and my sisters before I had moved here - but it wasn't in production the day we went. Last Friday it was in production and it was super fun! I'm kinda infatuated with factory tours - mostly when food products are being made! I'm pretty sure that the Jelly Belly Factory in Fairfield, CA and the Celestial Seasonings Factory are on the top of my list of favorites so far.
They made us wear lovely hairnets - but Will was lucky enough to have facial hair which required a beard net! : )
My favorite thing about Celestial Seasonings is how colorful everything is!
Lots of Tea!
Doesn't Will look thrilled here?
I loved all the samples, too!
For Valentine's Day Will and I went to the Broker restaurant in downtown Denver on Saturday night. We went there for our first date several years ago - and I was so nervous I barely ate anything so this time I was so excited to actually get to enjoy the food! I still tell Will he went overboard for a first date by taking me to the Broker. : ) Also for heart day we went to see the movie "Valentine's Day" which has basically every popular actor/actress in it. I loved it!! I will definitely buy it when it comes out. Totally cute and entertaining.

Will got me pretty flowers for Valentine's
and chocolate which was devoured in like a day.
This is us before we went out for dinner.
I love him <3
For Will I got him a cute card (I'm a total believer in cards, even if Will isn't) but with it he got Brian Reagan tickets from me! We're going tomorrow night to Brian Reagan and I'm super excited. Neither of us has been to a comedy show before and Will LOVES Brian Reagan and quotes him constantly so it should be well worth it.

Monday started out super relaxing - and ended super stressful. We slept in late then headed out to just check out some car dealerships. We definitely weren't planning on purchasing - just comparing a couple SUV/Crossovers we were interested in buying closer to the end of the year. Well after going out in search of SUVs we came home with a car! The process took basically our entire day and it was dark by the time we drove it home but I love my car! Did I mention its MY car? I loved my little Jetta - but I guess it was time to part. I bought a 2009 Pontiac G6 - GXP. I love it because it has POWER and I can actually pass people!! As a matter of fact, I can leave them in the dust because this car is FAST! This was my first car buying experience and I definitely love my car.

This is my new car .....

So we purchased the car Monday. Tuesday morning Will put my Jetta up on craigslist and by Tuesday evening the Jetta was sold!! For our entire asking price too which was awesome because we had so many hits in one day and many prospective buyers - I was so happy we didn't have to overlap owning multiple vehicles for too long! It looked so shiny and new - well until this morning when it snowed. Now its covered with snow and ice - which is never fun with a new car : (

We have been super super super busy and it doesn't look like it will slow down until May - when the semester finishes. But once May comes our Summer is already jammed packed with vacations, weddings, possibly helping family move and several small trips! In my mind I need to just make it to May and then it will be October before I know it! Time is flying by. I am so excited for 2010!!

Cafe Rio has arrived in Denver!

It's Official! Cafe Rio has landed in Denver. Will and I have been anticipating it since we heard it was coming! You better believe we were there Opening Day. Granted, it's been open for a little while now - but I've been crazy busy and blogging has been pushed to the way-side. We met up with some friends for the glorious event. Gotta love Cafe Rio! It's a mere 2.9 miles from our apartment. Yum!
